Every May, usually the second or third week of the month, Cecilia runs a week-long workshop in Paris. The workshop is open to poets writing in English at all levels of development — from those just beginning to explore the possibilities of imaginative language, to those already polishing their craft and publishing. Participants generate new work, hone their craft, offer feedback and support one another’s creative endeavors, make new friends and expand their literary horizons. In addition, they see and experience a side of Paris not readily accessible to the average tourist, and spend time in Paris as a poet among poets. The workshop also gives participants the chance to meet writers and artists living and working in Paris, at informational gatherings, readings and afternoon discussion groups.
